#IAmChristian
My prayers are for all those who are being persecuted for the sake of Christ. Knowing that they have a greater reward that Jesus Himself has prepared for them.
Thanking them for teaching me how to really live for Christ! And I thank God that for NOW
we have a freedom to worship Him.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power
of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes."
Romans 1:16
But if you are asking why did I titled #IAmChristian with question marks, let tell you why.
I have seen many of this on the social media, and I am glad that everyone is standing up for their faith. As I was reading this morning my Bible, God gave me this verse:
"If we claim to have a fellowship with Him(Jesus) and yet
walk in darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth."
1 John 1:6
Are you a Christian when you are alone?
Are you a Christian with your family?
Are you a Christian with your friends?
Are you a Christian when you are in the store?
Are you a Christian in your social media walls?
We need to be a Christian first when we are alone, we need to have a relationship with God when no one sees us. And the results of that relationship will show when your are with your family, your friends, in the store, in your facebook. We cannot walk in darkness following the way of this world and say we are followers of Christ. Because it is then better for us to be ashamed of the Gospel than to be a shame for the Gospel.
God wants our all not just a part of us. He wants us to walk in light so we shine for Him.
But what happens when we say we are His followers and act the contrary? We simply cause others to stumble, and to reject to believe in God.
Jesus has the power to change our life but it's our decision to let Him change us.
Your servant, Gaby M.
